What is Auto Gift Aid?
Using the quick and simple Gift Aid journey on our Donation Stations can significantly increase donation income. However, submitting Gift Aid claims through the HMRC portal can be time-consuming for finance teams and fundraisers.
Automatic Gift Aid Reclaim by GWD allows Gift Aided donations collected through your Donation Stations to be submitted to HMRC automatically on your behalf each month.
Who is eligible for Automatic Gift Aid Reclaim?
Our team will analyse your requirements and ensure that you are eligible for the service.
Once they have done this, they will allow you access to the setup form via our customer portal.
To be eligible for the service, you must:

Be a registered charity

Already be registered for claiming Gift Aid via the HMRC portal

Not have your transactions settled by our partner, Parish Giving Scheme (PGS) who already claim Gift Aid on your behalf
Once eligibility is confirmed, we will enable the Automatic Gift Aid setup form in your GWD portal.
This is a fully automated Gift Aid Claim solution with no manual intervention by GWD. The liability for ensuring the data being submitted to HMRC is accurate, remains with the charity. GWD are not liable for any loss of income if claims fail due to incorrect information being provided.
