# How do I take donations and exit Express mode?

## Express mode allows you to set the Donation Station Express to continually request a single, repeatable donation amount. It is ideal for situations where you want to take quick donations of the same amount.

**IMPORTANT:** If you plan on fundraising in an area where there is no internet connection available, you will need to ensure that you switch to Offline Mode BEFORE fundraising. If the device is not connected to the internet and is not in Offline mode, then **all transactions will fail.**

#### **🔶 Using Express Mode**

**🔸**Express can be used either when connected to the internet or in offline mode

**🔸**All offline donations will be stored on the Donation Station until you connect the Donation Station to the internet and complete the End of Day process

**IMPORTANT**: **At this point the device is ready to accept contactless payments** so be careful not to place the card reader near any of your contactless payment methods (like a smart watch, phone, or contactless card).

**Tip:  If you need to change the Donation Amount** you're asking for while in Express Mode you will need to Exit Express Mode and go back to the start of this guide to set up the new Donation Amount.

#### **🔶 Exit Express Mode:**

🔸If in the enclosure, remove the card reader.
