The Kensington Lock is a steel cable and locking mechanism that can be detached from the Midi using a key to make it easy to move the device when you need to.
Offline Mode users: If you will be using your Midi in Offline Mode, where there is no Wi-Fi, a Kensington Lock is an ideal security measure, to enable you to easily move it into a Wi-Fi enabled area to upload donations.
🔸1. Take the Kensington lock and pass the looped end through or around something secure, such as a fixed table leg, or ring bolt.
🔸2. Pass the lock end through the loop and pull through all the cable.
🔸3. Using the keys, twist the lock until the bars line up
🔸4. Insert the bar into the designated hole on the left side of the Donation Station Midi.
🔸5. Turn the lock to secure the bar perpendicular to the hole.
Tip: If installing the device in a new setting, you may need to attach a ring bolt to a wall or similar immovable object
