Using the Donation Station Outdoor for the first time
This guide goes through the process of turning on and setting up the Donation Station Outdoor for the first time
🔶 First Time Setup
Before you can start taking donations, you will need to turn on the Donation Station Outdoor, connect to the internet and set up a unique pin code.
🔸a. After completing installation, the Donation Station Outdoor will turn on when connected to power.
🔸b. If you purchased Sim Card upgrade, the Donation Station Outdoor will connect to the best available network. If not you will need to connect the Donation Station Outdoor to Wi-Fi or Ethernet.
Note: If turned off, the card terminal will power on when plugged into a power source
🔸c. Once connected, you will be prompted to create a unique pin.
🔸d. Next choose the fundraising mode: Keypad Mode, Suggested Amounts Mode, or Express Mode. You can always change modes after this initial selection by tapping the "G" icon in the top left and entering your pin.
Keypad Mode: Keypad mode is perfect for in person fundraising at events where the donation amount varies and is entered every time you accept a payment.
Suggested Amounts Mode: Suggested Amounts is a mode perfect for semi-attended situations, where you can configure multiple donation amounts for donors to select from.
Express Mode: Express Mode is the ideal mode for when you are wanting to accept quick, repeatable donations of the same amount.
DO NOT use express mode when using the Donation Station Outdoor Solar Kit. It will cause the battery to drain.
