Learn how use your contactless fundraising device in Offline Mode, and take your first donation
If specified before delivery, your Donation Station Pro will be set up to accept donations in offline mode.
To begin taking offline donations, turn on the Donation Station, launch the Donation Station app, and start taking donations

🔶 1. Launch the Donation Station App
🔸a. Launch Donation Station icon on the Windows desktop.
Double tap this and the Donation Station Quick Start Tool will Launch.
The tool will check the status of the card payment device and open the main menu. You may be asked to turn on the payment device. In this case follow the instructions on screen.
🔸b. Select "Launch Donation Station Offline" from the menu to launch the app and start taking donations.
🔶 2. Make a Donation
ℹ️ Your device does not need to be connected to the internet at this point.
The Donation Station software will take a few seconds to load.
🔸a. Once live, if you have enabled "Causes" you will be able to select a Cause before choosing a donation amount.
🔸b. Next, pick an amount from three pre-determined values, or use the "other" button to input an amount.
🔸c. If enabled, choose if you would like to cover fees.
🔸d. When prompted, place your payment card or a smart phone's digital wallet onto the contactless logo to the right of touch screen.
🔸e. Wait for the screen to change to confirm payment has been taken and a thank you message.
You have just made an Offline Donation!
Note: You'll notice that when the device prompts for payment, a disclaimer is displayed explaining as the device is collecting payments offline, transactions may take a little longer to show on donor's bank statements.
This is due to the extra time involved in connecting the device to the internet to upload the stored donations for processing.
