When will my donations be settled?

Most customers will have their donations settled from their Merchant Bank account to their business checking account on a monthly basis.

The list below outlines the merchant account providers that GWD work with to provide you with contactless card payments. If you are unsure which is relevant to you then please contact support who will let you know.

🔶 1. Latpay

🔸Latpay settle donations to your business current account on a monthly basis.

🔸The settlement period runs from the 1st day of the month to the last day of the month.

🔸All donations received in that time will be settled on the 3rd working day of the next month.

🔸For example: Donations taken between the 1st and 31st of January 2025 will be settled to your account on the 5th of February. Last day of the month plus 3 working days.

🔶 2. Supported Giving

🔸Supported Giving settle donations to your business current account on a monthly basis.

🔸The settlement period runs from the first day of the month to the last day of the month.

🔸All donations received in that time will be settled on the first day of the month plus one week plus one working day.

🔸For Example: Donations taken between the 1st and 31st of January 2025 will be settled to your account on the 10th of February 

🔶 3. Parish Giving Scheme 

🔸The Parish Giving Scheme claims all gift aided donations on your behalf with HMRC.

🔸You can expect two settlements for your one-off-gifts from the Parish Giving Scheme. One for all of your received donations, reference PGS - CL GIFTS and one for the gift aid claim, reference PGS CL GFTAID.

🔸The Parish Giving Scheme will settle gifts once all the donations from the previous month have been authorised and settled to the Parish Giving Scheme.

🔸The Parish Giving Scheme will aim to send you a settlement report and settle all of your donations by the middle of the month.

🔶 4. Allied Irish Bank (AIB)

🔸Allied Irish Bank settle donations the day after they were processed into your bank account between Monday and Friday

🔸 Donations taken on Friday, Saturday and Sunday will be settled into your account on Monday

🔶 5. Other

🔸If you are using your own Merchant Account, you will need to get in contact with them directly to learn about the frequency of your settlements
