Using the Donation Station Lite II in offline mode
Learn how to switch into offline mode and upload transactions
Note: Offline mode is currently unavailable on the Lite II but will be coming very soon!

🔸In the absence of a suitable Wi-Fi network, or strong mobile signal, you may wish to activate offline mode to accept donations.
🔸Whilst in offline mode the Donation Station Lite II will store all donations securely on the card terminal.
🔸At the end of the day or as soon as possible, you will need to unload the stored donations for processing.
🔸Donations are only authorised by the bank once they have been uploaded. You can see which transactions are were approved or declined after upload on the GWD Customer Portal
⚠️ Any stored transactions older than 14 days at the time of upload are likely to be Declined by the banks.
⚠️ We recommend that you upload transactions at least every few days
🔶 2. Activate Offline Mode
🔸Tap the "G" icon, enter the device PIN and tap "Connectivity".
🔸Select “Offline Mode” from the Connectivity Menu to access the Offline Mode settings.
🔸Use the toggle at the top to force the device into offline mode
Tip: if the card terminal is not connected to the internet by Wi-Fi or Mobile data, the user is prompted to switch into offline mode during a donation.
🔶 3. Upload Stored Transactions
🔸Tap the "G" icon in the top left, type in the device PIN code and tap "Connectivity".
🔸From the connectivity menu, tap "Offline Mode" to access Offline Mode settings.
🔸Tap "Upload Transactions".
🔸To upload transaction the card terminal must be connect to the internet. If there is no internet connection, you will be prompted to connect to a Wi-Fi network
